Pear & A-Triangle Face Characteristics
Pear and A-Triangle shaped faces have narrower foreheads that angle outwards to a wide jawline. The difference between the two is the angularity of the the jaw and chin, with the Pear being rounded and the A-Triangle being angular.

Glasses Goal
To add width to the forehead by choosing styles that angle outward at the top corners and are as wide as, or slightly wider than, the jawline.

Good Frame Options
Aviators, Cat-eye shapes, Sport styles and Rectangular frames slightly wider than your temples, will give these face shapes a balanced appearance.

Avoid
Frames that are too round or narrow.

Rectangular frames work well on Raven Symone’s Pear face.

Aviators look great on Kelly Osbourne’s Pear face.

Wayfarer’s work for Minnie Driver’s A-Triangle face!
