Candace Sanborn is a personal stylist and owner of Radiant Image in Auburn, Maine. She works with girls and women of all ages and specializes in virtual and in-person makeovers for women over 40. Radiant Image also provides coaching for businesses to help owners and team members enhance their personal presence to increase their opportunities and reach their sales goals.

Candace's Personal Styling services include analyzing an individual's skin, hair and eye coloring as well as body proportions and face shape. She then makes recommendations for flattering clothing colors and styles, makeup colors and application techniques, as well as hairstyles, glasses, scarves, hats and jewelry that harmonize with a client's face shape and features.

Business services focus on helping business professionals, managers and employees increase their self-awareness and effectiveness with others. Services include one-on-one coaching on appearance enhancements and improving interpersonal communication and public speaking abilities as well as group workshops on networking, the art of conversation and business etiquette. Candace also works with teams to understand their group dynamics, identifying the differences in team member's perspectives, personalities and talents to foster greater understanding of their differences, resulting in better communication and higher productivity.

About Candace Sanborn

Prior to starting Radiant Image in mid-2019, Candace worked for over 25 years creating branding strategies to help organizations achieve their sales or development goals. With professional service organizations like law firms, banks and accounting firms, this work included advising professionals and sales staff on how to elevate their overall presence. This included communication and presentation skills training as well as enhancing appearance. Wanting to have broader impact, Candace expanded her focus to working with people outside the business world in all stages of life, helping them to look and feel good about their appearance while also increasing their self-confidence.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Candace has lived in Maine for many years with her husband, with whom she has two grown children. She has an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University and is a qualified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She is a Leadership Maine alumni (Lambda class) and has served on a multitude of local and statewide boards and committees throughout Maine as well as presented on an array of personal image and branding-related subjects.

Candace is passionate about living a fun, interesting life through travel, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying her favorite activities: line dancing, pickleball, golf, walking in the Maine woods, and time on the water in her boat or kayak.
